This event was held on 22 April 2017. The event happened after we had skipped our planned even in February due to another event at the club and then again skipped our event in March due to the unfortunate passing of our longtime recycling partner, Xoliswa Stengane. Due to the long unplanned break between events we were expecting very poor attendance, however, we were pleasantly surprised. While we did not process our usual volumes we still did a respectful 3.7 tons of recyclables and saw 59 kids for the event. An outstanding success as far as we were concerned!
